Described by the Lucerne Festival as “a pianist who does not fit into any mold,” Malaysian pianist Bridget Yee is praised for performances of striking imagination and emotional depth. A winner of the Beecham International Piano Competition and a BBC Young Musician piano finalist, she has appeared at Wigmore Hall, Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall, Viborg Musikforening, Ägerihalle, and Harris Hall.
Recent highlights include her French and German solo debuts, a Swiss recital tour, her concerto debut with the National Symphony Orchestra of Malaysia at the Petronas Philharmonic Hall, and her appearance at the Aspen Music Festival. In 2026, she makes her solo debuts at the Lucerne Festival and the Royal Mile International Piano Series.
Bridget is currently in a three-year residency with the Riot Ensemble, giving the world premiere of Alexander Papp’s duo concerto on BBC Radio 3. She studies with Christopher Elton at the Royal Academy of Music.
